Sri Lanka was one of those places I’ve always wanted to go for a quick 2 week vacay because India was far too intimidating in terms of size. I happened to roll into the country during one its hardest economic crises with constant power shortages, long lines to fill up fuel and a lot of protesting. I would’ve loved to spend more time in this beautiful country, but alas, I had to return to work.
