I was absolutely obsessed with the history, culture and country after reading the book Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. A story which explores the generational trauma and survival through Korea and Japan. This country has an insanely complex past and present, although is still such a strong powerhouse in today’s world. I spent 2 weeks in Korea travelling with friends and my partner, and it really blew my mind.
